Are Movies And Television Intentionally Biased?

Andrew Klavan, who is a Hollywood screenwriter, says it is no accident that Christians are often portrayed in a negative light by the entertainment media. He is also a bestselling author who has worked with Clint Eastwood and Michael Douglas. Klavan believes that the negative portrayal of Christians and patriots in many popular TV shows and movies is intentional:

“….anytime a Christian walks on Law and Order, you know he’s the murderer. That happens a lot in films. Anytime somebody expresses any kind of religious view point, he’s going to turn out to be hypocritical, especially if he’s a Christian,” the screenwriter comments. “He’s going to turn out to be a hypocrite, or a hater or something like that. When you watch movies, watch who turns out to be the villain – how often he’s the patriot [or] the Christian.”
